Mathematics, Grades 3–5 — Course Inquiries Accepted

Algebra I — Now Enrolling

9:00–10:25 AM ET, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Designed for students who are comfortable working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, proportions, integers, basic equations, and the coordinate plane, and who are ready to explain their reasoning and complete independent practice between meetings. Placement may include a records review, readiness activity, or family conversation. (Ask About This Course)

Biology — Course Inquiries Accepted

10:35 AM–12:00 PM ET, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Designed for students who can read grade-appropriate scientific text, write organized responses using evidence, interpret graphs and tables, and apply basic mathematical reasoning. Previous middle-school science experience is recommended but not required. (Ask About This Course)

Chemistry — Course Inquiries Accepted

12:30–1:55 PM ET, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

Designed for students who have successfully completed Algebra I or can demonstrate comparable readiness — comfortable with fractions, ratios, proportions, unit conversions, graphing, scientific notation, and solving basic equations. Previous physical science experience is strongly recommended. (Ask About This Course)

Secondary students may also be invited to virtual office hours between 2:00 and 3:00 PM Eastern for additional support, feedback, or conferences. Office hours are scheduled by the instructor and are not an additional regularly scheduled class meeting.

Weekly Instructional Rhythm

Each week follows a consistent instructional rhythm. Monday introduces new concepts through focused instruction and inquiry. Tuesday emphasizes guided practice, problem-solving, collaboration, investigation, and data analysis. Thursday is devoted to application, assessment, projects, demonstrations, and laboratory inquiry. Students should expect meaningful work between live meetings.

2026–2027 Founding Families Tuition

Tuition for Algebra I is $595 per semester or $1,100 for the full academic year. Tuition for Mathematics, Science, Biology, and Chemistry is $550 per semester or $995 for the full academic year, per course. Tuition is paid by semester or full academic year; monthly billing is not currently offered. Families interested in enrolling in more than one course should contact The Gentry School directly to discuss enrollment.

Rolling enrollment in Algebra I may be considered when space is available and the student demonstrates appropriate readiness. Students entering after the course start date must complete the required orientation and an approved equivalent-instruction catch-up plan.

Course inquiries are being accepted for future enrollment opportunities. Course availability, cohort dates, and enrollment instructions will be communicated directly to interested families.

The Gentry School does not offer trial classes. Because each course is designed as a cohesive semester or full-year learning experience with limited enrollment, trial classes are not offered. Families are encouraged to review course descriptions and readiness expectations, and contact The Gentry School with any questions before enrolling.

Written withdrawal requests submitted before a student’s course start date are eligible for a full tuition refund. Requests submitted within the first week after a student’s course start date are eligible for a 50% tuition refund. Tuition is nonrefundable beginning one week after a student’s course start date, including for students who enroll after classes begin.
